Scott Shafer, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Scott Shafer is CEO of Absolute Performance Inc., where he is focused on delivering innovative infrastructure management, cybersecurity, end-user help desk, and data and application modernization services that support customers’ profitability and growth.

Prior to joining API in 2012, Scott amassed a reputation for driving measurable success in the areas of technology and business process outsourcing for leading global companies, including Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Fiserv, and Firstsource. In addition to partnering with customers to deliver IT excellence, Mr. Shafer also serves as a mentor to young entrepreneurs and early-stage companies across a range of industries, from technology to environmentally friendly, plant-based food manufacturing, and more.

Notably, Scott was also a founding member of Peak to Peak Charter School, a Colorado-based K-12 school that has been named a Top 100 US High School for the past 12 years. A proud parent of two successful young adults, he enjoys spending time in the Denver / Boulder community, where he resides.

David Ferguson, President and COO

David Ferguson is President and COO with Absolute Performance Inc., where he oversees the company’s day-to-day administrative and operational functions, including delivery, support, and the management of infrastructure services for businesses of all sizes and degrees of complexity. With more than 20 years of experience working in large-scale technology operations leadership roles and a 10+ year tenure with API, Mr. Ferguson boasts extensive experience in ITIL-based operations global service delivery from multiple locations and providers across hybrid technologies.

As COO with API, David is passionate about helping customers turn IT from a cost center into a profitable business asset. He is known for his positive leadership approach that inspires and empowers employees and an unwavering customer-first focus that puts customers at ease, fosters trust, and positions them for sustainable growth.

David earned a B.S. in Religious Studies and Computer Science from Rutgers University.

Edward Moon , Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Edward Moon is Chief Technology Officer with Absolute Performance, Inc., where he is responsible for integrating the company’s business needs and requirements into IT planning and operations to support critical business goals and objectives.

With a 20-year technology career that spans businesses of all sizes—from startups to Fortune 500 companies, including Logitech, Amdocs, and Amazon— Edward brings a unique blend of engineering and management expertise to power API’s technology complex. Boasting a seven-year tenure with API, Edward offers advanced expertise bridging a range of infrastructure technologies—from legacy systems to SaaS, cloud, and related modern technologies—with modernization initiatives and comprehensive security program development.

Christina Wafford, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Christina Wafford is Chief Financial Officer with Absolute Performance, Inc., where she oversees all aspects of the company’s corporate administration—from finance, accounting, and human resources to policies, procedures, budgeting, and facilities management.

Christina brings nearly 20 years of business, finance, and accounting experience to API, with advanced expertise in international and domestic, public and private company acquisitions and mergers and integration planning. Over the course of her career, Christina has overseen three M&A events with successful capital raises.

Christina holds a B.S. in Economics from Colorado College and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Eric Holland , Vice President, Architecture

Eric Holland is VP of Architecture with Absolute Performance, Inc., where he is focused on improving the technical landscape for customers to change the paradigm of technology from that of a tool to a core business asset and critical differentiator.

Eric’s 30-year IT career has included key positions at multiple companies across a range of industries where he played a pivotal role in helping organizations achieve a competitive advantage in a modern digital age. Backed by a forward-looking mindset and a proven track record of successfully modernizing both hardware and software tech stacks, Eric has amassed a reputation for consistently delivering operational efficiencies for businesses large and small, while strengthening their security posture and decreasing capital expenses.

Nina Zabolotnaya, Vice President, Service Delivery

Nina Zabolotnaya is VP of Service Delivery with Absolute Performance, Inc., where she is responsible for developing and managing the overall service delivery strategy and IT operations to support a consistently superior customer experience. As an advocate for efficiency optimization, Nina blends a steadfast commitment to quality, a laser-like customer focus, and broad technical acumen together to help power customer success through technology.

Over the course of her five-year tenure with API, Nina successfully implemented a suite of industry best practices to create a service delivery organization that, today, supports everything from small-scale deployments to Fortune 500-size projects. Prior to joining API, Nina applied her progressive technology expertise to several Denver-based software firms, where she offered consultative guidance and support to dozens of major customers and their stakeholders.

Nina is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a double major in Economics and International Affairs.
